How does the watermark removal work?
It uses the well-known “delogo” technique: the marked area is reconstructed by blurring and interpolating from the surrounding pixels, which hides static logos and watermarks. It is the same method many desktop tools use.
Is it perfect / AI-based?
It is not full AI inpainting (which needs a powerful server). It works best on static, semi-transparent or solid watermarks in a fixed position. Moving or very complex watermarks may leave a soft patch.
Are my videos uploaded to a server?
No. Everything runs entirely in your browser using ffmpeg.wasm. Your videos never leave your device, which keeps them completely private.
Why is it slow / how long does it take?
Because the video is processed in your browser, longer or higher-resolution videos take more time and memory. Short clips work best, and bulk videos are processed one after another.
Which formats are supported?
MP4 works best. Most common video formats can be loaded, and the output is saved as MP4.
Does it keep the original audio?
Yes. Only the marked video area is changed, the audio track is preserved as-is.
Will it reduce my video quality?
Only the small marked area is reconstructed; the rest stays at original quality. The video is re-encoded once, which is visually near-identical.
Is it legal to remove a watermark?
Only remove watermarks from videos you own or have permission to edit. Removing someone else’s watermark to misuse their content may breach copyright, you are responsible for how you use the output.
